Xavier began his career as a financial consultant in October 2009 at the age of 21 while pursuing his university education at Singapore Management University (SMU). He joined the career as it allows him to have the flexibility to work while studying. The career also enables him to become financially independent so that he will be able to support his family.
Xavier always has high expectations of himself. This led him to challenge himself to juggle both work and studies. With tenacity and hard work, Xavier qualified for Great Eastern Life Achivers Club (Rookie) during his first year of studies, and in 2012, he became the first student in the agency to qualify for Great Eastern Life Achievers Club Awards (Silver). Following these early successes, he qualified for the coveted Million Dollar Round Table award in 2013, the same year when he graduated from Singapore Management University with a Cum Laude honors.
Beyond his role as a financial consultant, Xavier believes in giving back to the agency by serving in the Recruitment Committee. He is grateful for the mentorship provided by the agency which has helped him overcome various challenges which he faced in the career. Through the recruitment activities, Xavier hopes to reach out to aspiring individuals who can also benefit from the agency's guidance and eventually become future leaders.
